Thailand used to be a travel destination for the more adventurous backpack traveller - but in the last couple of years it became a favourite holiday and dive destination for everyone.

Thailand has lots of beautiful sceneries - above and below water. And its culture and the friendliness of the Thai people make Thailand a perfect holiday destination.

20 years ago, Thailand made it into the "Top 10" of dive destinations in the world.
The famous "Similan Islands" are 9 beautiful islands off the western coast of Phuket and Khao Lak - and there are about 40 dive sites of great variety to be discovered by the keen diver. The aboundance of corals and marine life is just as astonishing as the breathtaking boulders here - a scenery that reminds many guest of the Seychelles...

No dive site at the Similans is like the other - it never gets booring: you find everything from coral gardens to overhangs, huge boulders and slopes, and not to forget the exciting swim throughs... Dives to be dreamt of - and a great location also for underwater photographers !

Travelling further up north on a liveaboard divng trip, you can discover more exciting and sometimes challenging dives sites at islands like Ko Bon or Ko Tachai - and then visit the highlight: the world known "Richelieu Rock" - very close to the burmese border and ranking amongst the 10 best dive sites in the world - with the chance to encounter anything pelargic and big...
Divers keep talking about whale sharks esp. there... May be you are amongst the lucky divers to spot this huge animal !
